Invitation to MQA Provincial Workshops on Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs), Annual Training Reports (ATRs) and Organising Framework for Occupation (OFO)
Dear Sir/Madam,
With reference to the invitation letter sent to you dated 09 February 2010, please see confirmed venues below.
The workshops are targeting primarily Skills Development Facilitators (primary and/ secondary) and HR/D Practitioners from organisations within the Mining and Minerals Sector (MMS) that will be responsible for the compilation and submission of the WSP and ATR to the MQA. In addition organisations may want to bring their HR/payroll systems person. Small and micro organisations within the MMS are encouraged to send the relevant person.
The purpose of the workshops are to:
1. Brief participants in understanding and implementing the OFO, particularly in relation to using the MQA OFO ImplementationToolkit, understanding the underlying principles required to accurately determine scarce and critical skills, and enabling the SDF to map the organisation structure to the OFO, by using a mapping tool to submit organisation employee profiles in their WSP-ATR submission for the 2010-2011financial year.
2. Brief participants on the legislative requirements, the MQA format, criteria and guidelines regarding WSP-ATR compilation and submission for the 2010-2011 financial year. (Please note that submission will be on an excel template and not on MQA-I-Share).
