Xtract Training Service (Pty) Ltd, a training provider accredited with the Mining Qualifications Authority, presents short courses throughout the country leading up to recognized Skills Programmes.  To date, very successful courses for Examine & Make Safe Surface Mines & Quarries have been held all over South Africa.

We are now also offering a 4 day short course for Basic Sampling and Testing of Construction Materials.  This is aimed at people holding appointments as ‘Laboratory Assistant’ or working in Cement, Lime, Aggregates, Sand and Industrial Minerals operations laboratories.

This course is being sponsored by Mining Qualifications Authority and 20 learners registered on this course will receive grants for the full value of their fees.  This course is also endorsed by the Institute of Quarrying Southern Africa and IQSA members are offered a discount.
